Taking Requests:

A few artists that have made my rush hour driving more passive aggressive than ever: Beautiful Mistake, Finch, Something Corporate, Taking Back Sunday, Tragically Hip, The Used.

As always, I’m in the market for new music suggestions. Your recommendations please?

The latest “Lemon Jelly” album is a masterpiece, and thoroughly charming it is too. No passive aggressive nonsense. “Lost Horizons” is the name of the album - I even looked it up for you. What a guy!

You have to get it for “Rambling Man” if nothing else - it’ll raise a smile on your face, I guarantee! (Chef Boyardee voice)

If you have, by some miracle, missed the latest White Stripes album, called “Elephant”: correct the error immediately.

Thank you both. Chris, I’ll look those up soon enough.

Tomas, rest assured — no miracles here, I didn’t miss that one.

I’m assuming your’re talking about Something Corporate’s “Leaving through the Window.” It’s OK, but there are definitely some crappy songs throughout. My least favorite track is “If You C Jordan.” There is a gem on that album though, the last track — “Globes and Maps.” If you like his voice on that track, be sure to check out Jeremy Enigk’s (formerly of Sunny Day Real Estate — get those albums too :P) “Return of the Frog Queen.” I think it came out sometime in the mid 90’s. Great album.

It seems that you’re into a wide range of music, in which case I can’t help but to recommend the new Annie Lennox album, “Bare.” Good Stuff.

Be sure to check out Alkaline Trio’s “Good Mourning” as well.

Thanks for your suggestions Justin. You’re quite right, I am into a wide range of music, everything from Rachmaninov to KRS-ONE, NOFX to Tiesto. As long as it sounds good, and I can look myself in the face in the morning.

All the qualities of a man acquire dignity when he knows that the service of the collectivity that owns him needs them. If proud of the collectivity, his own pride rises in proportion. No collectivity is like an army for nourishing such pride.… by online casino

It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest.
