Yesterday, Mark linked to this tip on how to keep avocados fresh. Won’t help me though, don’t need it. Avocados, or Avo’s as I like to call them, in my house have about a snowball’s chance in hell of lasting any longer than is necessary for them to ripen. I really love them. You can chop them up into a salad, serve them along with any meal - sliced in half, with a dash of pepper, and a splash of vinegar, cream them and put them on a sandwhich, use ‘em for guacamole with nachos, or even throw them on a pizza!
